Tucker Carlson Calls for End to US Aid for Israel
During an interview broadcast by an Israeli television channel, Carlson criticized Israel’s treatment of Arabs, stating he was “disgusted by the way that Israel treats Arabs, like animals or subhumans,” and asserting that the country has “lost its morality.”
He also said: “I think we should stop all aid to Israel, all special deals for Israel. Tomorrow,” while arguing that the US is not required “to lend its moral authority” to the Israeli government.
According to reports, Carlson further claimed that the US relationship with Israel has negatively affected Washington’s global standing, particularly in the context of the recent US-Israeli conflict involving Iran.
“We can’t afford it, and our standing in the world has declined, and we’re implicated in some of the many crimes Israel has committed,” he said.
Carlson also criticized Donald Trump, accusing him of “folding under pressure from [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu” and involving the US in a conflict with Iran that he described as harmful to American interests.
According to reports, Carlson had previously referred to Trump’s political approach as “Israelism” following social media posts and disagreements linked to the Iran conflict and comments involving Pope Leo XIV.
Although Carlson strongly supported Trump during his reelection campaign, he has increasingly criticized the president’s foreign policy positions in recent months.
Reports also noted that other prominent conservative figures associated with the MAGA movement, including Marjorie Taylor Greene, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones, have voiced growing dissatisfaction with aspects of Trump’s foreign policy stance.
